The current course presents general concept of Business Law and Saudi legal framework with more specific to Saudi Business Law. The students will learn about the practice and implementation of specific laws and regulations affecting the most important aspects of a foreign lawyer and foreign company transacting business in Saudi Arabia or with Saudi based Entities. The topics covered in this program include forms of doing business in Saudi Arabia, commercial regulations and laws, and the main elements of corporation Law in Saudi Arabia. Also included are legal aspects of managerial decisions, such as contracts, sales, banking security instruments, negotiable instruments, and leases. While, the on-going process of economic globalization has brought in the law relating to Trade Marks, Patents, copyrights etc. were also discussed.
